About the Founder

Elina Miettinen is the first ballerina from Finland to dance with the iconic American Ballet Theatre. During her 15-year professional ballet career she has performed worldwide and won multiple awards in Europe and the United States.

Elina has trained with top coaches in Paris, Cannes, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Helsinki and New York City as well as worked with world-renowned choreographers such as Twyla Tharp, Alexei Ratmansky, John Neumeier, Jorma Elo, Liam Scarlett, Benjamin Millepied to name a few..

Elina is honored to have been taught by the ballet legends like Irina Kolpakova, Natalia Makarova, Azari Plisetsky and Susan Jaffe.

Elina has worked as a private ballet coach for the past decade. Having the extensive knowledge and the experience working with dancers of all levels Elina enjoys guiding her students and helping them reach their dreams.

Elina’s ballet coaching sessions are not only about the technique, but also about presentation, musicality, coordination, the right mindset and staying injury free.
